Ernesto’s professional development began in 2017 when, while studying law at University Anáhuac Norte, he began to work for an important law firm, focused mainly in the practice areas of Foreign Trade and Customs, and Immigration and Intellectual Property. He carried out work such as reviewing and analyzing the publications of various government agencies, registering trademarks before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), applying for import permits for dangerous chemicals and gunpowder before SEDENA, conducting international market research on certain products to support the office in the developing and preparation of arguments for arbitration, extensive study of anti-dumping investigations procedure, and translation of documents.

 

 

 

Subsequently, in January 2019, Ernesto joined the law firm of Sánchez DeVanny Eseverri, where he is currently an Associate in the practice areas of Foreign Trade and Customs and Life Sciences. He has performed tasks such as Importers Registry applications, preparation, integration and filing of multiple procedures before COFEPRIS (Operation Notices, Previous Commercialization Notices, Applications for Previous Import Permits, response writ for health complaints, Applications for Health Licenses, etc.), Tax Administration Service, SENASICA, PROFECO, UPCI, among others, follow-up of multiple litigations and administrative appeals (constitutional claims, nullity claims, revocation appeals, judicial reviews, etc.), extensive investigations on unfair international trade practices better known as Anti-Dumping Investigations, and more.
