Malcolm has 7 years of professional experience. He currently carries out his practice within the energy and environmental sectors, counseling for national and international companies, with different levels of involvement in both power and hydrocarbons supply chains, while focusing on regulatory matters, contractual drafting, and full performance of obligations, as well as social and environmental responsibility.
Considering his academic and professional experience, Malcolm brings forth an updated and global perspective to his clients. Integrating the complex interactions between energy and environment, into an accurate legal analysis that considers both contractual and regulatory elements.
Since 2019 he has been a columnist for Oil & Gas Magazine, a leading digital publication in Mexico’ s Energy sector. Within that period more than thirty articles covering local and international affairs, from a legal and political standpoint.
Before joining Sánchez Devanny, Malcolm was an associate in the energy practice of a boutique law firm that specializes in regulation. Likewise, he worked as an attorney in the administrative litigation and consultancy practice at a recognized law firm.
