Paola has more than 5 years of experience working as an in-house lawyer for international companies in the practice areas of Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance, mainly in the energy sector. She has participated in corporate restructures and has given strategic advice on legal reforms that impact the operation of the companies.
In July 2021, she obtained certification from the Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism matters, which allowed her to serve as Compliance Officer within the financial entities for which she provided her services. She has also contributed advice and training on anti-corruption issues in the companies which she has been a part of.
