Tania has more than 9 years of professional experience. Among the services that she offers within her professional practice, should be highlighted the analysis and preparation of different types of agreements related to the energy sector (electricity and hydrocarbons). In addition, Tania provides legal advice to national and international clients regarding the implementation of the energy industry regulatory framework in Mexico, and the development and implementation of projects in upstream, midstream and downstream, as well as in conventional and unconventional energies.
Due to her experience and academic background in the energy sector, Tania is at the forefront in the knowledge of the regulation corresponding to the whole value chain of the energy branch in México. The aforementioned allows her to inform clients, in a timely manner, on the impact that the regulations will have on their current or future projects. Tania has participated as a panelist and continues to be a speaker in different national and international forums, and she has been author and co-author of multiple publications on energy.
Before joining Sanchez Devanny, Tania was part of a distinguished international law firm in Mexico City specializing in energy law. In addition, she worked as a lawyer in a State productive company developing new Mexican energy industry business and projects.
