Arturo co-leads the tax practice of the Monterrey office of the firm. He has 15 years of experience advising national and international companies, as well as high net worth individuals on complex tax issues.
His practice is primarily focused on international and domestic tax planning for national and international companies, attention of complex tax audits, indirect taxes advice and recovery, corporate tax advice, including M&A and corporate restructures, as well as cross-border transactions.
Arturo’s practice also includes advising private wealth clients on tax compliance of their foreign investments, as well as on wealth planning of their international assets, considering double tax residency issues and transfer of assets to the next generations, as well as pre-migration tax planning (either into or out of Mexico).
Arturo was elected partner in 2023, becoming the youngest partner in the history of the firm and the first full-track partner of the firm. Given his professional experience, both in Mexico and in the U.S., as well as his strong academic achievements, Arturo is a reference on the Monterrey market, providing clients with integral advice that helps them foresee tax liabilities and enhancement opportunities.
He is also part of the Energy Industry practice and ESG practice of the firm and a member of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF).
