Carlos’ practice focuses primarily on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and banking & finance. He is admitted to practice in Mexico and passed the New York Bar Exam to be able to practice in the State of New York, USA. He has experience counseling domestic and foreign issuers in respect with domestic and international equity and debt offerings. Carlos has also assisted Latin American and US-based companies in a series of transactions including debt restructuring via exchange offers, tender offers and consent solicitations.
As to his banking & finance experience, Carlos has represented international and domestic lenders and borrowers in connection with the structuring and restatement of credit facilities from both private and public entities/agencies. In addition, he has significant experience in merger and acquisition transactions with companies in various industries, including consumer/retail, sports wagering, construction, and technology.
Prior to joining Sanchez Devanny, he worked for to big-law firms in New York City, and previously in an important law firm in Mexico, advising domestic and multinational companies in banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
