Sánchez Devanny is pleased to announce that Luis Antonio González-Flores has joined our firm as partner of our Tax practice in the Mexico City office.
Before joining Sánchez Devanny, he had a distinguished twenty-year career at the Mexican Tax Administration Service, where he served as Central Audit Administrator (2013-2018) and International Audit Administrator (2004-2013), both at the Large Taxpayers Division. In his last position in the SAT, Luis Antonio led the supervision, coordination and development of audits and tax refunds of Mexico’s largest taxpayers.
He also acted as the Mexican Delegate to Working Party 9 “Consumption Taxes” at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (“OECD”), and served as Mexican Assessor of Transparency and Exchange of Information at the OECD’s Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes.
Luis Antonio is member of the International Fiscal Association, Mexican Branch, and of the Public Accountants Association of Mexico. He has a Master’s degree in Tax Administration from the UNED/IEF in Madrid, Spain, and is a Public Accountant for the EBC in Mexico.
