Edgardo worked for nearly four years at an important tax law firm where he was eventually promoted to the position of Senior Lawyer. During his time in said law firm he worked in high profile cases representing clients in which the tax authorities, especially de Tax Administration Service, issued resolutions that either determined a tax assessment or denied the right to a tax refund.
The legal defense in those cases consisted of filing all available legal remedies against the act of authority that affected the rights of the clients, including administrative appeal, lawsuit before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice, and amparo suits.
In some cases instead of filing the legal remedies described above, he initiated an Alternative Tax Dispute Resolution Procedure before the Attorney General for Taxpayer Defense (PRODECON), such procedure consists of a series of meetings and negotiations between the client and the tax authorities having the Attorney General for Taxpayer Defense as a neutral third party; obtained favourable results for the clients in said procedures.
The clients that Edgardo have work with belong to a diverse range of industries, including the food, industrial construction, beverage, self-service chain stores, steel, alcohol, construction machinery, aviation, and automotive industries, among others.
