Turenna Ramírez writes Modifications to the RGCE 2020: their implications and effects

Our partner Turenna Ramirez prepared the article entitled “Modifications to the RGCE 2020: their implications and effects” for the most recent edition of the Nuevo León Energy Cluster bulletin.
In this article Turenna talks about the impact that the changes published in the Seventh Resolution of Modifications to the General Rules of Foreign Trade for 2020 will have on the economy. This includes substantial modifications to the authorization scheme for the entry or exit of goods from the national territory from a place other than the one authorized, in order to limit this benefit to the State Productive Companies.
This modification has very strong implications in industries such as energy, chemical or mining, since they require special entry or exit points of goods from the national territory such as extraction points, private docks, floating units, platforms, etc. With this resolution, all goods or services must pass through established Fiscal Precincts or commercial customs.
